Plastic Recycling

Addressing plastic waste from diverse technological, environmental, management, social and policy-making perspectives.

The rising dependency on plastics poses serious social, environmental and economic concerns. The Plastic Recycling Research Cluster (PRRC) is undertaking highly collaborative research to explore and address the issue of plastic waste from different technological, environmental, management, social and policy-making perspectives in British Columbia and beyond. The cluster encompasses an interdisciplinary team of researchers from engineering, management, creative and critical studies and psychology, who are working with industrial partners and municipal and federal government to manage plastic waste more systematically.
