Lean LaunchPad Program

Six-month training program tailored to support individuals and teams throughout various stages of the entrepreneurship journey.

Curriculum:


The e@UBCO Lean LaunchPad (LLP) Accelerator program runs over 6 months and includes the following components:

  1. Value Proposition Canvas
  2. Uncovering Pains and Gains
  3. Customer Discovery and Interviewing
  4. Competitive Landscape
  5. Market Sizing and Mapping the Buying Process
  6. Minimum Viable Product and Prototype
  7. Education on Revenue Model and Pricing

 

What You’ll Learn:


  • Learn from case studies developed and shared by successful entrepreneurs
  • View how-to videos and undertake exercises via an online platform developed by e@UBC and the Sauder School of Business on the Vancouver campus
  • Conduct customer interviews
  • Attend workshops delivered by business leaders and top professional services providers on protection of intellectual property, the legal considerations of structuring a business, creation of a financial model and financing
  • Learn from top professional services providers who are expert in key areas of asset protection and building business value
  • Learn from successful CEOs who have successfully built a start-up
  • Learn from angel investors from Valhalla Angels who can coach on pitch development and creation of value for investorss
  • Participate in quick pitch competitions

More advanced tracks receive one-on-one coaching from experienced business mentors and will be fully prepared to apply for Accelerate Okanagan’s mentoring programs.
